DESIGNED BY CLINICIANS FOR CLINICIANS.

Our “Multi-Purpose” Mission

Is based on “caring,” particularly for the caregivers who treat patients where hypodermic needles are used, and for the patients receiving medical treatment. InjectiMed’s mission is developing world-class, innovative safety-needle technology to reduce the incidence of Needlestick Injuries (NSI) to healthcare workers that help shorten access time, improve patient outcomes and address patient safety concerns.

Our focus is not allowing the needle tip to be exposed when it is removed from a patient. If there is “NO EXPOSURE TIME™” to a contaminated needle tip, then the probability of injury is greatly reduced. We consider our “NET” technology as a viable solution to solving the ongoing needlestick injury problem.

We are…

DEDICATED to continuous improvement, best-practices, understanding the specific needs of the clinician and patient and offering safe needle technology designed to meet those needs.

The company has designed and developed a range of safety-engineered hypodermic needles, with a focus on clinical applications. Portions of our patent portfolio have been successfully enforced by a third party in multiple jurisdictions worldwide.

Our first offering from Nevada is the SafetyNET® Guidewire Introducer, an OSHA-compliant, one-handed activation surgical access needle. The company expects to develop and license additional needle platforms in the future.

We are pleased to announce a 1st generation PASSIV™ Self-Capping Safety Injection Needle is functioning and has established proof-of-concept. An improved 2nd generation model, Bill of Materials and Manufacturing Plan to scale volumes have been created to continue the development.

New echogenic tip…

Our most recent development is a new echogenic needle tip that is visible under both short-axis and long-axis ultrasound imaging. Here is the image of the tip under short-axis ultrasound.

Since 1991

“No Exposure Time™”

Our multi-patented NO EXPOSURE TIME™, OSHA-compliant safety-engineered needle is designed to provide “familiarity of feel,” and unparalleled control / protection. Once the safety feature is activated, blood in the sharp needle tip is contained within the Safety Guard as it instantly captures the needle tip before cross-contamination can occur, protecting caregivers and their patients.

Company Goals

To offer safety products that:

  • Improve patient outcomes

  • Reduce injury rates to medical personnel

  • Improve compliance with the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard

  • Reduce the liability and costs associated with Needlestick Injuries (NSI) litigation

  • Improve the clinician’s ability to precisely access a vessel under ultrasound imaging

  • Reduce the total procedure time, from access to ambulation.

InjectiMed’s goal is to produce a “pipeline” of innovative products in multiple safety needle platforms that achieve “STANDARD OF CARE” recognition in medicine.
